Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Mentor the IT Planning and Scheduling team
- Provide ongoing technical and leadership expertise for the delivery of business applications
- Initiate innovation and change to deliver measurable value in our systems and processes
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with all stakeholders: internal and external customers, vendors, other IT professionals, Managers, CIO’s analysts, and GBS/GBS-IS management
- Strengthen the applications team, over time, through hands-on leadership and development opportunities, creating a talent pipeline for succession planning
- Guide and direct multiple coordinated teams and large-scale, high-impact, and/or Global Multi-Million Dollar projects, executing in adherence to budget, schedule, and scope with a high degree of customer satisfaction
- Use the company project management methodology to manage day-to-day operational and technical aspects of multiple, large-scale projects
- Develop and enhance standard operating procedures to ensure reliable delivery of information technology
- Develop and manage capital budget request documentation and expense budgets
Key Objectives
- Oversee planning system work with business and IT Teams to design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing
- Partner with architecture and client teams to define and develop strategy and deliver results in line with the strategy
- Partner with the infrastructure teams to ensure continued stability and support of the Microsoft Applications and on-prem environments
- Guide and support project lead on mid-size work requests and projects, such as new site design, new functionality design, and/or existing site redesign
- Manage vendor relations, ensuring optimal service and cost efficiency.
- Develop and execute business unit and location IT strategies to align information systems processes across the business
- Support the company compliance activities by performing annual system testing for IT System and SOX Audit requirements, assist SOX audit teams and internal audit teams, and perform Disaster Recovery testing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited organization
- 7 years of experience working in information systems or technology.
- 2 years’ experience in a position of leadership/influence (defined as having direct reports, matrix reports, or being a team lead on projects).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales and Operations Planning knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong business process and manufacturing knowledge
- Effective people and team leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
- Experience with Unisys OS1100 application development
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL
- Experience with Oracle ERP Software
