About the Role: 
Location: Hybrid – Piscataway, NJ
Base Salary: $145K – $155k, plus bonus
No Visa Sponsorship Available

What you will do

  • Project manage and lead complex projects following Agile methodology including SCRUM
  • Develop strategies and solutions for large, complex first-party (known and unknown) customer datasets for marketing purposes
  • Manage business relationship working with global and divisional Marketing teams to advance first party data collection strategies
  • Solution the design and plan to integrate multiple data flows and pipelines to link disparate data streams of customer interactions into a single source of truth to be used across the marketing and advertising technology stack.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities for potential technical solutions and evaluate the impact of solutions against requirements
  • Responsible for the design of customer data models for use in marketing segmentation, targeting, personalization, sales enablement, and similar use cases.
  • Key subject matter expert on customer data working closely with solution partners to inform the tech stack roadmap
  • Research and recommend new digital marketing technologies to advance capabilities in digital advertising and marketing analytics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 7 years Experience working in Information Technology or Digital Marketing
  • At least 2 years Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), preferably with Blueconic or other leading platforms
  • At least 2 years Experience in working with large complex datasets to derive insight leveraging SQL and Excel
  • Strong data manipulation and database modeling skills. Must be proficient in SQL, understand how to design and evaluate data models (conceptual, logical and physical), and have the ability to closely partner with data engineers, architects, and data scientists to create well maintained customer databases.
  • Understanding of data management and data governance practices including data stewards, data custodians, data lineage, data quality, data cleansing, metadata management, etc.
  • Understanding of governmental privacy regulations on the collection and use of customer data (such a GDPR and CCPA) and how this impacts customer data management.
  • Ability to apply agile methodology and sprint development to manage project implementations and backlogs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as customer relationship building skills
  • Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage complex projects with many stakeholders.
  • Desire to participate in and help build and strengthen a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience leading large full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including cloud-based marketing solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Google Cloud Platform including Big Query, Data Fusion, Data Prep, Data Studio
  • Minimum of 2 years experience using or implementing/supporting Salesforce Marketing Cloud /Exact Target including Journey Builder, E-Mail Studio, Advertising Studio, Mobile Studio and/or SAP Marketing Cloud
  • Minimum of 2 years of Web Analytics experience including Google Analytics 360
